I’ve had three fabulous days of riding in the Mountains to the North, East and West. I’ve learnt more in three days than I could have in three months at home, and it’s given me a real taste for more! Ed and Sarah’s hospitality went above and beyond as I ended up solo one evening, and was kindly invited to diner with the family. Thank you both very much! The bikes are fabulous - really well prepped each day, and really well maintained and looked after to their published service schedule . I’m a fan of Yamaha, and the WR did not disappoint. Perfect bike for these mountains. Accommodation very clean and comfortable - breakfast excellent - all the kit is well maintained, clean & fresh. I didn’t have to bring anything, which makes travel so easy. I’m planning a return in 2025 to do the Desert Yamaha T7 tour. All in all 9.5 out of 10 for everything - looking forward to coming back soon.

Fantastic 3 days with Redtread - they really do know how to run a bike trip! Impeccable organisation, classy villa, wide range of quality bike kit to choose from, perfectly maintained bikes and smooth, professional and good-humoured leading from Ed. We had the perfect mix of trails and views, plus the right level of challenge for our mixed group. Plus top breakfast (Sarah's home made yoghurt) and cracking lunches out on the trail. I spent 3 days riding with Redtread, 14th - 16th September. Ed, Sarah and the boys couldn't have been more hospitable and the riding itself was fantastic. It was my first proper trail riding experience - the terrain and trails were challenging but manageable (well, mostly...). It was a great few days, we had a good group who all got on well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Redtread, they got it absolutely spot on.

We have had a really great mini adventure. Made to feel at home and very welcome. Well planned itinerary, taking our abilities into account, with reliable bikes and excellent kit top to toe. Our thanks to everyone involved.

From picking up the leaflet at the NEC last Autumn to heading out there last week - what to say? I have been motorbiking one year so this was big adventure. What a great team. Collected from the airport, accommodated at a lovely villa overlooking Nerja just below the Sierra Nevada, where the pool (and the disco lighting if you want it!) offered welcome relief after the day's riding. Then there was Sarah's baking knocking "Bake-off" into the shade. Pete on hand with kit, breakfast, and fantastic northern philosophy. Thanks. Edward, my guide and the owner of Redtread, never gave me room to doubt I was up to what we did. There were a couple of tumbles, but he and his team, and particular thanks to Digger and Kurt, who scraped me up a couple of times, were fantastic. I never imagined we would do what we did - that I could do what we did. All in all this is a fabulous team, embedded in the area, the people, the language, with support and knowledge galore, with kit and advice that leaves nothing to chance. Such a fantastic trip. Thanks to you all. I hope to return at some point and unhesitatingly and unreservedly recommend you all.

Had a fantastic day trip with Redtread from start to finish was welcoming and professional and also Very knowledgable. As we had never ridden off road before Ed took us on some scenic trails which were amazing and challenging at times! The views cannot be explained only witnessed!. Even when we both had an "off" they were right by us giving us riding feedback and how we could improve our technique. Overall an amazing day and will definitely be back! Redtread 2019 ! great communication during booking with all questions answered quickly and in depth. friendly collection from airport right on time which was great. Ed and Sarah gave a very warm welcome to us which was also nice. Villa itself is fantastic with a great pool/outside area, close to town for good restaurants etc and the honesty bar system is a great idea, only slight downside was we found the beds too hard but to be honest it didn't really matter on a lads holiday. we booked a 2 day tour meaning we had free time either side of riding days which was good as gave us chance to enjoy the villa and nerja itself. first riding day we met our guide (digger) and geared up to go on the bikes .. bikes where nearly new wr250fs and gear provided all decent quality stuff. first days riding we found the ride a bit tame for us in the morning but put that down to the availability of more challenging terrain in the area we where in . lunch stop was fantastic in a local café with great food and views. afternoon Digger picked the pace up and gave us some great trails that we wanted on an enduro holiday as we all can ride dirtbikes and wanted more challenging trails. got a good days riding in and got back to the villa about 5pm so good time on the bike. second day was just what we wanted, proper enduro riding up in the mountains on varied tracks/terrain and had an absolute blast . again lunch stop was great at a beach café . have to say Digger is a top bloke, genuinely nice guy and a right laugh to be around, really made the holiday and is a credit to Redtread. overall we had a brilliant time with Redtread and would recommend to anyone, Perfect for novices wanting to gain more experience as could not fault the set up and atmosphere .Would make it clear on day one if you your after harder riding so that the guides know your level and what you want but obviously understand everyone is different. would not hesitate to recommend this company and hope they continue to offer proper enduro tours in years to come. Brilliant, been home three weeks now and still buzzing. Given me confidence to do a trail or two at home. Spent an excellent 3 days biking around the mountains of southern Spain. Sarah, Ed and Diggs are wonderful hosts and everything from the accommodation to the bikes is 100%. I had never ridden off road before this trip but it wasn’t a problem. I got up to speed very quickly with help from Diggs (Redtread Guide). We couldn't have a had better experience. My wife and I are both street riders , although I haven't rode off road for nearly 30 years, she has never ridden off road and we had a great time. We saw some outstanding Spanish countrysiide, rode through some quaint mountain villages, and had great vista views of the coast. Ed and team were great. The only complaiint was I didn't get enough photos - bring your Go Pro becuse you'll be having too much fun to stop and snap pics with your phone.

Just a few words to say what a fantastic time my wife and I had recently with the team at Redtread. Great hospitality, friendly atmosphere and Leslie wonderful cakes. And I nearly forgot the great ride out on the bikes.

Just spent a short week with the guys. 3 full days of riding and can't wait to go back. Ed and Digger judged our riding ability perfectly and took us on trails that were a good mix of fun and challenging. The whole set up is brilliant. From the airport transfers to the villa which is a short walk in to town of an evening. Full land-rover back up if needed during the day and the bikes are incredible. Didn't need the 450 as the 250 was more than enough bike for me. Perfectly maintained machines which is a sign of Redtreads professionalism. A really friendly team to welcome and take care of you and some incredible trails and mountain scenery on top class bikes. Very good experience. Went on a one Day trip with Digger. The gear was fantastic. All was properly washed, and functional. Good service from booking, welcome, riding, lunch etc. It was quite a long trip, so I imagine it will be hard fysical If you are not experient to ride. I will come back one Day. With huge thanks to the Redtread Team our group of four had a fantastic time! We were a mix of abilities with two having been riding for over 25 years and two without licences and never having ridden before. Without doubt we were looked after beyond our expectations from start to finish to ensure that we had the very best time. Sarah helped to ensure we were completely prepared before we left home and on arrival at the airport Ed was there to greet us and drove us back to the house where we were given a very warm welcome by Lesley and Adrian and were kitted out in high quality gear for the next day's riding. The bikes were absolutely top quality and were perfect for the trails we went on - we were guided on some lovely routes by Ed and Digger, and then Pepe too on the last day, and enjoyed a bit of challenge coupled with some stunning views whilst the two who were learning were taken to the nearby track. By the end of Day 1, one had joined us on the trails with all of us being able to go out together by Day 3 - fantastic! Super lunches, a lovely nearby town (Nerja), all we could want at the end of each day's riding (including delicious cake baked by Lesley) and a chill out by the pool with a well stocked bar - nothing could have been better! Wij hebben een fantastisch avontuur beleefd bij Redtread. Alles verliep volgens afspraak. De uitrusting was zeer netjes en professioneel. Het was super om samen met mijn zoon Emiel deze motorcrosservaring te kunnen delen. Omdat Emiel nog geen rijbewijs heeft hebben we 3u op een zeer uitgebreid terrein onze vaardigheden kunnen testen. De instructies waren heel duidelijk en we kregen tijd genoeg om te oefenen. Achteraf ben ik nog met Digger een uur door de campo gescheurd! Wat een belevenis! Het Redtreadteam was heel vriendelijk en Lesley had zelfs een taart gebakken voor Emiel zijn 16de verjaardag! Wij komen zeker terug!!!! Bedankt voor alles!

Had an absolutely brilliant time with Redtread last week. The bikes are well fettled, and the provided kit was clean. and in good condition. Every care was taken to make sure we had the right gear too.

Hi! Redtread exceeded my expectations. 1. Great preplanning by Sarah via mail 2. Adrian was very helpful in getting the right gear and he handed us fresh and modern equipment 3. Edward was the perfect tour guide, in understanding our needs an the ability to push us further. We learned a lot in 1 day and will go for the 3 day trip next time. 4. Nice living area with Lesleys ginger cake and Marley the dog, in the back yard. 5 We enjoyed a vold beer and relaxing in the lounge afterwords! 6 out 5 starts, top notch!

Had a fantastic weekend, even with the rain Saturday afternoon and monsoon Saturday night! ( not in the control of Redtread unfortunately) . Everything went very smoothly from the airport pick up and drop off to a welcoming arrival and getting kitted out by Adrian. Ed was our guide for the weekend with Pepe looking after everyone from behind. Dinner on the rides was superb especially on the beach and the cake at the end of the ride was a nice touch. The other guys and girls on our ride were a very friendly bunch and shared many stories with us. My only regret is that I didn`t get any use of the pool! Booking was a breeze with Sarah taking care of every query, all in all a well run operation, Thanks.

I had one of the most exiting 3 days I have had in a very long time with Redtread as my first off road experience! A big thank you to Ed, Adrian, Lesley, Sarah and the rest of the Readtread team for making me feel welcome and taking such good care of all the riders in such a nice accomodation. Brilliant 3 days, was worried whether I could still do it after nearly 40 years since last riding off road, but it all came back quite quickly. Adrian and Leslie - Great hosts, thanks for the lovely cakes and lifts into town. Digger and Pepe - Great guides, good routes, kept us entertained with the tricky bits. Ed and Sarah - bike prep and pre tour communication. Ian - for the entertaining drive to and from the airport. Some say, the scariest part of the tour. LOL

A big thank you to all the team for such a wonderful experience. I was a little apprehensive before we started out on the first day as all the others were obviously much more experienced and I was sure I was going to slow everyone down. My 5'2" height and short legs were catered for with a Yamaha 'Tricker' while Rob had a WR250. Both Edward and Digger were very encouraging and it was reassuring to know that there was someone to provide assistance wherever in the group you were if a helping hand was required. The drop off system worked in my favour as everyone kept making their way past me so I hardly had to stop at all. Ed & Digger's local knowledge was fantastic, and the places we stopped for lunch were great too. And WOW the scenery! The whole weekend was so much fun we plan to join Redtread again later in the year maybe checking out some of their tours too. I'll have to make sure the 'Tricker' is free. The facilities were really lovely and Adrian and Lesley were great and accommodating hosts.

After 20 years back on a offroad bike again. And it was great to do this at Nerja. Digger guided me around and took me riding in the campo. Also the huge enduro area near Nerja was great to be and to be teached some new skills. It is not the cheapest way to go touring again, however value for money is my opinion. The bike was oke and they supplied me with a decent set of clothes and gear (in my size as well...) See you soon I'll hope.

We had a fantastic 3 days riding on some great tracks with stunning scenery. I hadn't ridden an off road bike for 30+ years, so it took time to adapt, but on the third day everything seemed to click into place and it was brilliant. Don't get me wrong, the first 2 days were great but the 3rd day just made it awesome. Thanks to Ed and Digger for the tours and also to Ady and Leslie for the accommodation and admin which was great. We even managed a quick dip in the pool on the last day even though the water temp was only 11*C

Had a fantastic day with redtread on my one day ride. Felt nervous the day before and Sarah put me at ease. The staff/location/set up etc are all perfect and they make you feel valued as a customer and make sure the ride is suited to yourself or your group. I have completed other similar enduro days but this was the best. Can't recommend this enough.

Had a fantastic weekend with my mates. The whole process through booking, advice on what kit to bring or not, airport transfers, the greeting on arrival, the quality of the accommodation and pool, the lunch destinations and of course the bikes and ride, was all top class. Just returned from my 10th ride with Redtread! People!... don't start off-road riding... it's addictive)). Well, seriously: Redtread is a unique opportunity to ride hundreds of km off-road...mountains, river beds...technical stuff...speedy staff. Try it, ladies and gents... but don't say that I had not warned you))

Departing from the Netherlands we were with fifteen men driving off road in Spain. With a group including two guides riding on gravel roads. The hired off road yamaha's were very well prepared and included our booking. All according to schedule 9:30 on the dirt bike and 16:30 back Lots of drinks in the large fridge and a refreshing swimming pool. The accomodation was well beyond expectations. For fun and food drinking you must have been redtread

After just getting back from a 3 day tour with Redtread, I have to give it 100%. Everything from the location, accommodation and hospitality, to the equipment, trails and experience was absolutely spot on.

Just had a brilliant time with Redtread at Nerja. Big thanks to Ed, Sarah, Digger and Pepe. The rides were great and were pitched just right for our novice level. Brilliant 3 days of riding. Having not ridden dirt bikes before I found my 20 years of road riding counted for nothing! Thanks to our expert and very patient guides we learned loads and stayed safe. Bikes very well maintained. Lunches very nice indeed. Accommodation comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean. This trip was hard work for me and I'll need a few days to get over it but it was ultimately very rewarding. Recommended. Cheers!

I have been riding road bikes for nearly 30yrs but can safely say that 3 days on a WR250 in the Spanish mountains was the most fun I’ve ever had on 2 wheels. The team gave the training required for ‘offroad’ novices like myself and quickly assessed the pace and trail type to use for our ability, which in my opinion was ‘spot on’. The protective gear was good quality and condition, the bikes in excellent fettle and looked like new. I felt well looked after from beginning to end, the team had endless knowledge and were informative and confidence inspiring. It really was a laugh a minute both on and off the trail. I just can’t wait to get back and do it all again.

Fantastic experience, came out as a complete novice and now have a great understanding on how to ride off road. The team were extremely welcoming, the accommodation was supurbe and the tuition was top notch! Every day our skills improved the guides found more challenging trails, I can tell you, the views from the top of the mountains are second to none. Top class outfit, we will be back next year!

Had a taster day with Readtread on the 7th June 2016. Great facilities, bikes, protection equipment and instruction. Will definitely be returning; hopefully with some friends in November

We have just come back to Canada from an amazing three day riding package. Adrian and Lesley made us feel welcome right away at the house and Ed & Digger made us feel safe on the trails and the road. My girlfriend had a nice little bike perfect for her size and I had a 125 since I don't have a bike license. The 125 was perfect and I never felt that it was not powerful enough to follow the 250s. The accomodations are very conducive to socializing and we met some great people from Sweden and the UK, we biked together during the day and went out in town for dinner at night. All I can say is that we can't wait to go back. Thanks

The best holiday decisions I made was to have a day with Redtread when in Nerja over Christmas. Very well organised friendly team. Adrians patience's in fitting me out with riding gear, Digger leading our group with a style that suits all abilities ....... great Guys. A tour with Redtread is a great experience, great scenery and highly recommended.

I just had the most amazing time with redtread. I turned up a stranger and left feeling like a member of the family, I was genuinely very sad to leave. Let me tell you that this company do. NOT CHARGE enough for the experience you get in my opinion !!!! They instantly make you feel at home from the warm welcome you receive to the freshly cooked cake that's put out every day for your return to the villa. ( Thanks Lesley ) The kit is fantasticly cleaned and maintained and the lifts and airport transfers are extremely punctual (Thanks Adrian ) The bikes are maintained to such a high standard that frankly I don't know how Ed has time to put the spanners down and be a guide let alone the boss. EVERYONE who is part of the redtread team went out of there way to give me the best experience i could possibly have. Redtread .......... just keep doing what you do, you are amaizing. This was a great tour on partly challenging and great gravel roads around the mountains on the Costa del Sol. Highly recommended.

My colleagues at work planned a three day riding trip to Spain. So when I got my bike license in September they asked me if I wanted to join them. I was a bit afraid I would slow down the group since they all had more experience than me. But they convinced me that I would be okay and that it was no race. I'm so happy I joined! This was the most fun I have had in a long time! Excellent guides, perfect trails, good weather, the best group of people and a learning curve that went through the roof. Thank you so much for the awesome memories!

As a team of four, we have just completed a week at Redtread and had 5 days of riding. One day of rest in the middle was much needed. What a great experience. Small things matter and absolutely everything was catered for and explained. The trails were different each day and I think we really only touched a tip of the expanse of trail tracks in the region. Averaging around 120 - 160km per day it was intense but great fun. The best thing.... It was flexible for what ever level of group turn up. Never any pressure. Family run business and fantastic people who genuinely care for their guests. If you are reading this then your obviously interested. Do it.......

Redtread was truly amazing from start to finish. This is something I have always wanted to do. Digger is fantastic and challenged my every second of riding. Beautiful lunch and a few coffee stops en route- what more could you ask for? Stunning views to take in. Went to Redtread for some trail riding we certainly got that,3 different trails over 3 days,hundreds of km in the Spanish mountains-fantastic.The best ever adventour on a motorbike,till the next time. My son Jake and I did 3 days last week. I can honestly say its the best 3 days on a bike I have ever had. I went with a novice group and Jake with the 'hard core' group, all meeting up for an amazing lunch in a different place each day. The kit and bikes are top quality and the hospitality second to none. We only had one wet day and Ady lit the cozy log burner to warm us up on our return which was lovely. The next day it was hot enough for the pool if we had wanted. We were lucky enough to share with a great Scandinavian group who we became mates with very soon. Ed, Sarah,Digger, Jim, Lesley and Ady personally make you feel welcome and happy from the star. We are going back this spring. Thanks everyone 😎!

just returned home after my 7th or 8th visit to red tread had two days riding. i can personally recommend to anyone that you will be treated like family with service second to none. no messing finding hotels , transfers etc sara and edd do the lot all in house. the guides are the best and leslely and adrian will cater for your need from food to driver. tip of the day get jim,s bike if you can, however i dropped it this weekend and i thought i was about to see a grown man cry , lol

We did a 3 day tour with no background in off-road, our guide "Digger" was great, he took us through routes that match our skills and kept it exciting. the whole team was very organised, they try to help you in anyway they can.

We had a great 2 days riding through the fantastic scenery of the area. Never ridden off road before but the guides, Digger and Jim were perfect. They kept the pace just right, hope to come back again soon. Thanks to all of you.

This was absolutely fantastic. And next year we will have sunny weather all the time! But even though the rain was pouring down one of the days, we really had a great time! Superb staff!!

10th to 17th October, wow what can we say. had a brilliant time, massive thanks to Digger and Jim for leading and to Adrian and Lesley for making us feel so welcome. accommodation was first class. Nerja was a beautiful town and we had a great time there every night. thank you Ed, Redtread is a great tour company and we we all love to come back one day.

Although it's taken me 2 years to finally get round to writing a review the memories of my Redtread experience are very fresh in my mind. The best trip we have ever been on! Accommodation was homely and very modern, food was delicious (mostly Lesley's sandwiches) and the riding was an unforgettable experience! Both myself and Will had an amazing time on the trails with Digger leading us and Ed joining us for one day. We could not have asked for a more funny, friendly and helpfull group of guides that made every day better! However, there was one thing that we didn't like about the holiday!! We had to go home!! We could have hapily stayed another month! Next time we will be sure to take a lock so that Adrian cannot get us out! first ever trip off roading abroad, and what can i say, absolutely fantastic. adrian and lesley are lovely people, very hospitable and helpful, and lesleys cakes are a treat to return too after a hard days riding! the guides, digger and jim, are a cracking couple of lads, really professional, capable, and friendly, providing just the right level of riding experience for everyone's ability and needs, fast and flowing, slow and technical, with sections to push everyone to there limits and give a real feeling of satisfaction on completion, i cant thank them both enough. ed and sarahs comunications beforehand made everything run like clockwork. i can honestly say its been a blast, and i will definitely be returning. well done redtread, its been absolutely brilliant. see you next time.

A fantastic day with Jim & Adrian. As an experienced road rider but an off road novice I did wonder if Id be able to adapt. I shouldn't have worried as the tuition is brilliantly pitched to reflect the riders ability and quickly built our confidence. Cant wait to do it again !

For this price absolutely the best holiday and tutoring available anywhere. Digger is an expert in teaching you and giving you confidence within your own capabilities. I'll be back! Second time this year and both trips were superb First trip 12 riders and two guides and even though a very mixed ability group Digger and Jim did a good job to keep it all rolling and everyone happy Bikes and gear all good and Adrian more than helpful with fitting/exchanging/taxi and fashion advice with a heavy tendency towards double denim with a flash of pink Accommodation spot on honesty bar works well pool spot on Riding was a real mix and the marker system works very well Second trip 3 riders one guide lots of Guinness lots of sweat lots of gnarly bits lots of kilometres lots of superb views temporary loss of go pro (who put that branch in the way) lots of offs care of Timmy boy (are the tyre marks still visible on the wall in the lane) not a lot of sleep loss of two riders on my last day (dirty stop outs) to round up a superb trip In a nut shell over both trips the hosts were superb and very tolerant and on the coal face Jim and Digger are top blokes who are a real asset to the business. The only thing lacking to accomplish perfection us a pair of pink converse boots for Adrian Thanks again kenny

I had the wonderful Red Tread experience 16- 21 Jun 2014. It was easy to arrange the entire trip via e-mail with Sarah. I arrived and every thing was as advertised - great place, great bikes and gear. The riding was fun and Jim my guide was absolutely a professional and made the days of riding very enjoyable. I will not hesitate to return to Red Tread for some more fun!!! todd

Tour dates from 13th-17th June. Communication up to the tour from Sarah was great and on arrival the introduction was brilliant. Accommodation is tailor made for the job and is a great environment. Ed & Sarah were great hosts and the guide Jim was a true gem and a huge asset to the RedTread team. His tips and friendly approach with constant support for someone who has never ridden off road before boosted my confidence immensely and even thou i came off on the first day his encouragement and selection of trials really made the experience complete including the hilarious stories about his Spanish learning blonders. Trip dates were 11-14 April 2014, only 4 riders and a range of experience and abilities, me the slowest again despite this being my second time! What I really like is that Redtread in general and Digger as guide in particular, are safe, encouraging and make sure all riders can enjoy their trip without undue pressure or risk. A thoroughly professional setup and I loved the new accommodation and especially the dinners at the local petrol station (loads better in the flesh than that sounds.....). Can't do it in 2015 but will try again at some stage, and urge others to do it even if they aren't sure if they can manage the trails.

I didn't think it would be better the second time around, but I was wrong. It was brilliant, with the added benefit of the WR450 fuel injected bike, which is on my wish list. Digger and Jim were fantastic with our group, knowing when to push and when to call it a day and giving riders confidence that they can do it. Adrian and Lesley ensured we were looked after at the 'Redtread house'. I am already planning and looking forward to our next visit and I've only been back home 4 days. Thanks for another brilliant experience.

Do not book anywhere else. You will not beat Redtread. Excellent from start to finish.

Amazing three days riding! Highly recommended. Everything from the equipment, the bikes and the trails was sensational. Lunch breaks were always amazing and never short on food and local specialities. Nice people, nice company and all that you need to relax and enjoy the evenings after a long day riding.

Riding full week Feb 21-28. Was very glad to revisit Redtread after not being there since 2 years ago and to find same nice hosts Adrian and Lesley, the guide Digger and, of course Ed and Sarah. The new guide Jim perfectly fit into the company of nice and professional people that Redtread are. The riding is superb giving enough challenge and fun to riders of any experience. Besides of being proud to overcome the off-road challenges of the South of Spain I was taking with me a vast additional off-road experience and thus overall improvement of riding skills, both on-and -off road. The level of service is amazing, due to the quality of people in Redtread and meticulous following of the routines that have been worked out through the years of hosting and touring of biking groups. I was here together with a group of thirtheen riders from sweden in the middle of january 2014. The weather was sunny and around 20 degres celsius. Great stay with some fantastic days on gravel roads around in this fantastic area. The whole set-up with Readtread is well organised all the way through from booking, pick-up at airport, equipment hand-out and offroad driving. I can really recommend this to everyone. Ian Watt and I booked up and joined a great group of lads. First class break, good riding with great company. Digger and Jim gave great advise, and made the most of the routes available. Back at base everything provided helped to make a bloody good value for money trip.

Great 4 days trail riding including some quality instruction time at the motocross track and Enduro loop. Very mixed ability group but well managed by Digger & Jim. Excellent lunch locations and food. Very well looked after and pampered by all from start to finish. Home from home. "I'll be back".

I was part of a group of ten, some gravel virgins and some seasoned diggers. On day one there was introduction and one-on-one instruction for those who needed it, before heading onto the trails. Ed held a good pace in front so that the experienced riders were entertained, while Jim the sweeper made sure everyone found their way. On day two one of us was a little too inspired by the sigth of a pond, plunged in and bruised both himself and the bike. But shortly after they were both safely taken back to the house and medical care by Adrian and the Land Rover. My bike suffered a small radiator leak from a stone hit but Jim trusted me his own bike instead - no problems. Mid November turned out to sport perfect day time riding temperatures and the entire experience will surely be repeated some day.

Wow! Just got back from 5 days with Redtread and cannot fault it. When I looked through previous reports about Redtread before I left, I thought they sounded too good to be true, I must be able to find some thing wrong with them, but they proved me wrong. This place has it spot-on. Believe me, this is a holiday of a lifetime. The terrain/scenery is just unbelievable. Our guides Jim and Ed were fantastic blokes, not just for the confidence Jim gave by his pace up at the front, and Ed, who picked up the tail enders/dropped bikes at the rear (without ever complaining about the damage to his bikes), they are genuinely friendly people. Lesley and Adrian were the best hosts you could hope for, and it would be worth staying at Redtread just for Lesley’s famous cakes and home cooking! There is an extremely well stocked bar at Redtread, which runs an honesty tab, so you just help yourself to drinks anytime of the day, the best one being, on the return form a days riding, an ice cold San Miguel, while sitting outside on a balcony, overlooking the beautiful town of Competa, while the sun goes down over the mountains that you have conquered that day, and talking to your newfound companions about the thrills (and spills!) you have all had. Many thanks to Lesley, Adrian, Jim and Ed p.s. Jim/Ed, hope you both survive ‘mad dog’ till we hopefully meet again next year.

Quite frankly THE best long weekend away I think I've ever had. Bought it for my husbands 50th, was talked into doing a novice day myself, ended up doing two days and I've gone from a truly petrified novice to a much more confident novice rider. Jim was an AMAZING teacher with the patience of a saint and I never thought for one minute I'd be riding round like we did by the end of day 2 after literally standing there quaking in my boots on the morning of the first day wondering what on earth I'd let myself be talked into...Lesley and Adi looked after us so well and Lesleys cakes waiting for us each day after a day out were to die for. I just want to go back now!

just got back after my second time with redtread. this time ed and sarha put together a package so i could take my 14 year old son on a private track. jim was great with my lad he spent all day teaching him better ways to get round the track, he really is a great teacher both my self and my lad loved it can't wait to go again.

Just had a 3 day tour. Odd to say, but I have come home very relaxed. A days riding is tiring but Competa is such a pleasant town and the accommodation meant lots of sitting about a pool with a cold beer. Excellent! Tour guides are great and really friendly and helpful.

Fun fun fun with a capital F. Even better than expected. Good kit, good bikes, excellent guides ( Jim & Digger) and excellent hosts (Adrian & Lesley). With just 2 of us in the group plenty of riding with minimal stops, cracking routes and terrain, lovely relaxed atmosphere at the accommodation (nothing too much trouble), freshly baked cake as we arrived back, and some good places in Competa to relax in the evenings. The only downside was how quickly three days went.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - from the great hospitality to the fantastic trails - The location of the Redtread base is pefect and my wife was so pleased that she was able to go horseriding nearby. All arrangements are well tested and the support from all at Redtread is superb

I arrived here a total off road novice and obviously there was some trepidation. However have just finished 3 days of riding and my initial fears were totally unfounded. No pressure to operate outside comfort zone, which I have to say, did increase over the 3 days of riding. Excellent bikes and first class kit. Big thanks to Digger and Jim whose advice was priceless. I can’t find fault in any part of the trip. The accommodation was superb, the views even better and a big thanks to Adrian and Lesley for their superb hospitality and thanks to John for the company. I will definitely be back and based on the stories will probably be bringing a few people with me. Superb!!!

From Adrian picking me up at the airport to him dropping us off (sadly we had to leave), the hospitality of Adrian and Lesley and tuition and guidance of Digger and Jim, was absolutely brilliant. I was like a kid again, looking forward to riding the fantastic WR250's. The bikes are very well maintained and the kit was in perfect condition - my body armour seemed almost new. The village of Competa has great food with friendly restaurants. Lesleys afternoon cakes were delicious - I meant to ask for the lemon drizzle recipe Lesley... Digger and Jim boosted our confidence and knew exactly what pace to set for us. We always felt safe, yet challenged. If you are considering going I can highly recommend Redtread. I am definitely going back and with luck will join the Sierra Nevada tour. Thanks Adrian, Lesley, Digger and Jim. You guys made my holiday. (P.S. - Digger I found a Panda for you with doors and bonnet!)

My group and I had a great time, we wanted it to be challenging and we wanted decent bikes we got both. accommodation was fine and our wives did not want to leave. Local village was excellent and the hosts Adrian & Lesley were outstanding. Ed & Digger where great, Digger was clearly the better rider (only joking Ed). We will defo re - book.

Booked in for the full week starting 8 March. Despite being an offroad novice, and therefore quite slow on the trails, I was helped and encouraged by the excellent guides Ed, Digger and Ben. Due to the first few days being wet and the trails often muddy, we were unable to do the usual training session on the Redtread Track area, but the remaining two of us present on the final two days did do it and I found it very informative and helpful. Having ridden the stock Yamaha 250 initially, I was swopped onto a Honda 250 which had a slightly lower seat and improved my overall confidence. The staff were really good and made it clear that trying to exceed my capability was unnecesssary, and the way the rides were organised each day allowed a great and satisfying experience for a wide range of riding abilities. Overall, the organisation, warm hospitality and great service from the three guides and from Adrian & Lesley really made for a great trip. I intend to return next spring!!! Meeting Foggy and James Whitham when they arrived half way through my week was a great pleasure and a real bonus! Great guys and very down to earth.

I was there for the 5 day experience and each day was fresh and exciting. The weather was wet for the first 2 days and this made for very slippy conditions but I, as a novice, managed to survive and slowly improve. You will be briefed to go at your own pace and not try to keep up with the rider in front if that means exceeding your capabilities. You would be well advised to heed this. Don't worry, You will find yourself speeding up quite naturally as the days go on. The set-up is so well organised yet friendly. All the staff are excellent and the guides/instructors combine an ability to make the rideouts fun and challenging. Go with the attitude of a willingness to learn. Get a little bit fit before you go and you will get the maximum out of the experience.

Just spent three great days riding with the team from Redtread. The terrain was fabulous and quite different to what we experience in Australia. The bikes were top notch and Ed and Digger and Ben were great guides and coaches which made the riding experience just something special. The accommodation and friendly support from Adrian and Lesley made it feel like a home away from home. Will definitely do this all again and would recommend anyone looking at this website to look no further.....this is the team you want by your side.

Had a fantastic time with 9 mates for my 50th birthday bash. What can I say that hasn't been said before? It was without doubt the best holiday I have ever had! Everything was top notch, the bike, the kit, the accommodation. But most of all its the people. For me it was a holiday - for them it could have been just another booking. But far from it. They pull off the rare trick of making your experience an individual one. The hospitality is first class without being over bearing and its things like Lesley's legendary cakes that make the difference! Big thanks to Ed and Digger who are possibly the best tour guides you could wish for! The only negative was getting back on the plane....

My first time at Redtread. I had three driving days, and it was absolutely perfect. Thanks for a very memorable stay with great guides (Digger & Ed) and great support at the base (Adrian & Lesley). The views are that everyone writing - absolutely fantastic! Driving is really fun with incredible height differences and large variations in the types of roads and terrain. The loop around the lake and the high speed driving on the river bed that never seemed to end, was definitely among the funniest thing I have done. I would also like to thank the other members in the group, Ryan, Henry, Alex and Dean for nice company. Cheers //Fredrik

we came with nervous but high expectations of our week with redtread and it did not disappoint. Everything about the holiday was fantastic from the accomadation and the food to the riding and the breathtaking views. The family atmosphere and the home cooking made us feel relaxed and welcome. but its the riding that really gave us the buzz, we were treated to fast riverbed sections reaching mind numbing speeds to climbs and falls and technical sections within our caperbilities. Digger (our guide and pace maker) seemed to be able to stretch us to our safe limit and after over 650km we survived without falling. We were in heaven for seven days with stories of our ride echoing the best week a rider can have. If you are thinking of doing this and have experience of enduro riding think no more its amazing. Its that good we're coming back next year with more guys. Thanks again to all of you

Simply Brilliant!!! Give the package holiday a break, you won't regret it. Towards the end of the 1st day I thought I was starting to get it and the next day would be a breeze. How wrong I was!! The pace and technical level increase day on day, meaning you are always stretched. I came with my wife a non-rider, she joined the rest of the group for lunch on more than one occasion (although this was accidental and probably not the norm) and was happy by the pool for the remainder of the day with a copy of 50 Shades of Grey!!

This was our 3 day riding experience with readtead with the sum total of 6hr off road experience before for myself and for Kath 24 aug 2012 Got to say was the best holiday I have had so far and I have has some good ones. The facilities were really good, clean rooms, pool and a top bar with hosts Adrian and Lesley who made you feel like family and would go the extra mile in service. Oh and fresh homemade cakes after a ride, stuff of legends. The guides Bart and Digger where just superstars. So here a little break down of what happened on each day Fri eve Arrived at the airport and was picked up by Adrian who made us feel welcome instantly. On the drive to redtread had an informal brief about the complex and once at redtread we were kitted out where Adrian did a good job of making sure you got a very good fit with the kit Sat Meeting at 10am talk on kit your riding experience and meet the two riders who were our guides. They asked everyone which bike they wanted the 250 or the 450 wr expect Kath she had a crf 230 due to her only been short. I went for the 250wr then we rode down to the practice track, where half a day training was given (Kath was given the option to go in the truck with the bike on tow as she had 0 experience on that type of bike which see did). At the track we developed skills which we would need, and Bart gave Kath a one on one lesson and was very patient with Kath and good at teaching her the skills she would need. Digger also put the lads though there skills and gave good clear advice . So then it was off to lunch which was more than enough and very tasty. After lunch it was out on the trails, where we did dust tracks and a drop in to a river. Kath had a few spills but was helped out straight way by Bart who sorted it out and gave advice and kept Kath’s spirits up. At the front Digger was leading the tour and was good at setting a good speed for the group so it flowed just right not to slow and not to fast where you panic. Sunday Another fab breakfast by our hosts 10am set off for some mountain trails, dropping then in to a long ride down a river bed where you could stretch the bikes and slide them. A few people had drops and got stuck and Bart was a superstar and sorted it all out Digger set a good pace to follow with no pressure to keep up then it was on to riding round a lake where we was put though going up and down drops round tight turns then off to another fab lunch. Then we finish the afternoon off with a mix off dirt roads tracks and roads. Monday 10 am set off again we rode up and down a valley off road, then going up a mountain to a zoo for lunch but on the way there was 3 optional hard hill climbs and descents, where digger would explain then show you how to do it, there was no pressure for you to do it as you could just ride round if you wanted. Then after lunch at the zoo we did some fast flowing dirt tracks along the mounts’ with the odd jump which by then you had built the skills to have a go at getting air which was great fun as you could really get the bike going and sideways, think speedway style best ride ever!!!! Thanks digger Tue Pool day and looking around the town of competa which is a lovely little town and on you departure the hosts gave you a presentation pack with photos and other bits and bobs. The bikes Where in good condition and well looked after. Odd marks but there are off road bikes they get marked it’s their job so don’t panic you road riders. The kit Well its off road kit the armour and helmets where in good condition, the pants and shirts where marked and had the odd repair but once again its off road kit so it gets abused and if you damaged it a little i.e. put a little hole in the shirt there was no issue and no charged ask. The guides Ace very helpful and good at giving you confidence and always on hand with advice such as give it more beans! Value for money As a tight Yorkshire man I can say yes Bad points Having to go back to the real world and work (yes that it)

Wow, Wow and Wow is the best way I can describe our trip. From the moment we met Lesley at the front gate to the point of waving goodbye we were made to feel so welcome and comfortable, asthough nothing was too much trouble. Having never ridden a trail bike before the tuition and pace of riding was spot on, made all that more enjoyable by Digger and the oh so funny Bart... well tailored and mass loads of fun. Bring on next year.

First time off roading and really enjoyed it,wished I had more experience to try more. Digger and Bart were good in explaining the bikes and handling. A few spills (some bruises ) but nothing to put me off. The trails were good (views of the mountains spectacular) and varied as the group was mixed in abilities. As a complete novice I soon picked it up and would try everything and would reccommend Redtread. Thanks to Lesley and Adrian for looking after us when back at base. Cake on arriving back each day and making sure everything was ok.

We have just returned to the UK after spending 4 fabulous days at Redtread. Everything about the place,people ,equipment and hospitality is totally faultless and nothing was too much trouble , it turned a few days away into an unforgettable experience. Digger and Bart did a great job out on the trails showing us some spectacular scenery as well as making sure everyone was doing ok and were always willing to help and advise ,Adrian and Lesley did all they could to make sure we had a great time and couldn't have been better hosts. We all had an absolutely brilliant few days and were very sorry to leave. We will definitely be going back at the first opportunity. Redtread is a totally top draw outfit from start to finish Lesleys cakes at the end of a days ride are just the icing on the cake (so to speak!!) Thanks again all for such a good time

Easter Siera Nevada tour; I have never done dirt biking before and I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences of my life! The guides were great (Digger and Ed) our accommodation was also really good, and just a short walk into town for some really nice traditional Spanish food. My favourite part was riding down the river bed, OMFG, I will be back with the "Older Men" that I came on this trip with again, and I will be wearing my blue sweeper shirt again! I have just got back home after a further week travelling around Spain following the experience and the grin is still on my face! I didn't know that you could laugh so much falling off a bike (which happens of course), but the kit and bikes are first class and nobody in our group hurt themselves! The staff are first class..... Digger and Bart were excellent guides. Knowledgeable, patient and expert riders. Adrian and Lesley are great hosts. Food is excellent and the bar is always open, which is nice ;) Janet (being a non-rider) was a little apprehensive at being left alone, but both Adrian and Lesley made her feel really welcome with lots of advice and guidance to help her fill her time whilst I was out in the mountains. I feel more alive now than I have done for quite a while..... I will be back !

I was given a days trailriding by my son and daughter, what a fantastic birthday present. The whole experience was brilliant, very well organised & run by very nice people. The weather was unkind with rain all day, but even this did not spoil our day, in fact, made some parts even better such as the "dry" riverbed. Many thanks to the team for making it so enjoyable, can't wait to come back.

Let's start saying I've never done off road before and I was with a group of people with much more experience than I. Despite my limited knowledge and confidence I had a fantastic time and this was possible because of the excellent and professional organization of readtread. The guides Digger and Bart were very good and helpful, they were available to give suggestions all the times and explaining how to improve your offroad skills, irrespective of your personal abilities. I did the 3 days tour and I've been challenged all the time, I'd love to get some more offroad experience back home and then be back again. Location is also perfect, unique scenery, going from flat roads to steep paths, from mountain tracks to river crossing, you will definitely not get bored. The hosts Lesley and Adrian made me feel home since I've arrived, they're both very friendly and looking into everybody's needs. Accommodation is good and clean, you can even enjoy the swimming pool if the weather is good. I will recommend this holiday to everybody, wonderful experience.

Great experience while it lasted. I only wish I was better at offroad riding to do the touring and routes justice! Superb hospitality, thanks Adrian and Lesley, and very professional guiding/sweeping, thanks Digger and Ed. I'll try and get back once I put more miles in!!

Been riding offroad for a couple of years now, and I must say that the two riding days I spent with Redtread was by far the most fun I have ever had. Great tracks and excellent tutoring. Big thanks to Digger and Ed! Accommodation was good, and the people at Redtread hospitable and nice. Will surely try to arrange a trip next year as well.

A brilliant week all round, Adrian and Lesley are very goods hosts. Almost felt like a home from home, except for the stunning scenery and frantic activity. I would recommend it to anyone, never a dull moment. The kit was very good and the riding a challenge to riders of all abilities. The guides Digger and Bart were stars, anyone who can repair 5 punctures in one day and keeps smiling is OK in my book! If you have to spend over 10 minutes trying to think of any way a holiday can be improved then that says it all. I have to say that any deficiecies were entirely of my own making. This is the sort of holiday that can only leave you with good memories. Go for it !

I found Redtread absolutely marvellous from all the viewpoints: fantastic view from the house, great accommodation, flawless hosting, good bikes and outstanding guides. I found the hosting of Lesley and Adrian perfect, they are very amiable and at the same time systematic and professionally approaching people. Redtread is the place where you want to come back!

Perfect location for an off road experience, mountain tracks and riverbed crossing, absolutely awesome. Did the 3 day tour, fantastic time, wanted to stay longer. Fantastic weekend. Equipment is well maintained and the hospitality is excellent, the staff couldn't do enough for you and they keep a well stocked bar :-). Accommodation is very clean. Definitely going back again as this was my second time anyway. Thanks Ed and Digger.

Where to start? - I could't find fault with anything. Had 3 days riding which was absolutely 'the dogs!' Food, bike equipment, accommodation was all top notch. Ed and Digger were absolutely brilliant out on the bikes riding - really helpful; they know their stuff. The hospitality from Lesley and Aidy was absolutely 5* PLUS! And this woman can really cook pucker cakes! Chocolate, lemon drizzle - you name it, she can bake it! Hopefully I will be booking again in November. I took my partner: she didn't ride, but absolutely loved it: the surrounding area, the accommodation, the food - I thought she would be bored while I was out riding, but she loved it there too! Thanks again everybody for all your hard work and for making it a brilliant few days! We will be back!!!!! This is the sort of review that would be good on Trip Advisor.

Great day out, excellent training! We were both off road novices and at 5'5 I was worried about being able to get a toe down but the CRF230 was ideal. We both loved the riding, it was just the right level and wish we'd been able to do 2 or 3 days instead of 1 ! We would recommend Red Tread & hope to return some day !

WOW!! It was my first time with Redtread and sure won't be my last!!!!! I came all the way from Australia and was so impressed with everything about Redtread. The riding was incredible, the guides Digger and Bart where just fantastic in every aspect, the accommodation was amazing, the food was outstanding but above all the hospitality shown by the hosts made the whole experience so wonderful and relaxing!!! Fantastic tour, even better than the previous year, not just because we rode through rain, sleet & snow on the mountain, only to be followed by bright sunshine back down near sea level, but mostly because of the RedTread Team and our tour buddies who made the tour the best yet. Great scenery, great riding, amazing food (too much sometimes) & great accommodation. Booking again: You bet we are!!!

Had a fantastic trip with Redtread in October 2011. Tour guides Digger and Ben did a really good job, and we also had a lot of fun. Almost first time on gravel for all of us, but we learned a lot during these 3 days. Adrian and Leslie were great hosts at the country house. Love to get back soon... ;o)

Just returned from our second time at Redtread this year. Can't fault these guys at all. Had a great bunch of lads to ride with, the trails were great even in difficult weather conditions. Tour guide, Digger, was as professional as ever, giving great tuition to the lads who hadn't been off road before. Hosts Adrian and Lesley were as helpful as ever. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Already looking at dates for next year as its so addictive, very happy with the whole experience.

Got back last week from a fantastic 3 days riding with Redtread. It was bit scary initialy as I had no offroad experience and only 3 months of onroad experience since passing my test. A little bit of tuition and a lot of practice though and I was soon having a great time mixing it with the big boys (well nearly). I hit the dirt about 5 times in the trip but due to the excellent body armour and tough as nails bikes each time no damage was done and the fun continued. Our accommodation was great for the price and well located for wandering into town for an evening meal. Overall a great experience.

Hi Guys, just returned from a brilliant weekend of riding. From the time we arrived at Redtread we were treated very well by everybody, even Bob the dog got in on the act with that swishing tail of his, it is almost an offensive weapon!! The kit was great and the bikes in good shape despite the fact that they no doubt would be worked hard throughout the year, NOT ONE of them gave any trouble. Of the four of us only one had any previous experience of offroading so we were "challenged" every day, but we were guided all the way by our two very cool and helpful guides, Digger and Bart, thanks lads. My only complaint is that I fell off too many times!! All in all it was a great experience. If you fancy some great riding, awesome scenery and great food, go for it. Dennis O'Shea

Brilliant weekend!!! The staff & facilities are fantastic. If you are thinking of going on your own & not sure, do it. I did. The staff were fantastic & extremely friendly. Ed has managed to create an excellent team of people that are extremely committed & who complete the whole package. Thought this would be a "one off" for me, but after my trip I will be definitely going again. Well done guys & thank you.

What a couple of days!! Cannot rate highly enough the whole experience, only downside was that we chose 2 days and not 3. Unfortunately Mike did come home with a broken shoulder and some top bruising (how he managed to ride for the majority of day one in this state beggars belief). Just working on how to get another trip sanctioned by the boss (Wife). If you know of any good apartments in Nerja, that may help? Please pass on our thanks to all involved in making this a most memorable experience.

For you who don't read swedish we had 3 fantastic days. Vi hämtades på flyget av Adrian på Torsdagen, kördes upp till Competa som är en charmig bergsby. På kvällen provade vi ut all utrustning. Fredag förmiddag kör vi på en närliggande Crossbana och får instruktioner av vår guide "Digger" mycket nyttig information och träning. Nu återstod 2 och halv dag av grym åkning i varierad terräng. Att komma till Redtread i Spanien är som att komma hem till en familj vänliga människor och mycket fint boende. Poolen, utsikten och maten allt var super duper. Detta får man inte missa!! Great..... it's tipping with rain, I'm at work and not on a motorcycle eating dust.... 3 reasons for booking again !! I think I speak for all the guys when I say we had a fantastic time at Redtread. I don't think I can fault any aspect: the location, weather, amenities at the villa, the service provided by all concerned from pick-up to drop-off, the glorious home-cooked food, the bikes and, most of all, great riding in picturesque scenery. All in all a superb 4 days. I've got 3 gripes : one for each time I fell off !!

Me and a mate did a day ride and loved every minute of it. Great day. Would recommend!

Just fantastic! Cannot tell you how enjoyable this weekend was. Digger and Bart seem to instinctively know your riding strengths and encourage you all the way through. Adrian and Lesley make the Redtread mansion feel like home from home with good sized accommodation and superb home cooked food. Without doubt one of the most memorable weekends away I have had. Worth every penny.

This is the 3rd time visiting Redtread and it was the best. Thanks to Adrian & Lesley for being the perfect hosts (although I put on a few lbs with Lesleys cakes!) and to the awesome guides. Looks like I'll be returning for a 4th visit next year.

A truly fantastic weekend, I can not honestly fault it. The rides were awesome, Digger led us through testing trails, climbs, drops and river crossings, but manageable for novices. Scenery was breathtaking, great local restaurants for lunch. All bikes well maintained. Got back from a tiring day to enjoy Lesley's home made cake and later superb home cooking for dinner. Best time I've had in years. Thanks to Adrian and Lesley, from the first meeting at the airport to the last, the warm welcoming atmosphere created by these two could not have been any better, and that's before you sample their food (OUT OF THIS WORLD ). Hi. Just got back from a 3-day riding tour with Redtread, what an amazing experience, from the minute we arrived things just ran very smoothly. Adrian and Lesley were terrific hosts who looked after your every need. Lesley makes lovely cakes and is great with a cuppa after a hard days riding. She's also a great cook and does a great evening meal. Our guide for the trip was Digger, who makes sure you're comfortable with your bike and kit, and has great knowledge of the trails, and will keep you right. April 2011, did a 4 day trip with 3 riding days. Great time had by all. Always impressed with this trip – even though I’ve been twice before, it was just what was needed for an extended w/end break. Adrian & Lesley were fab hosts, the accommodation & food was great. Trails and tuition was top notch. They cater for all levels so get on and do it. Great value if add up what you get - and all you need to take is a small cabin bag with a few clothes & a toothbrush in. Job done!

Truly memorable 2 days of riding. Riding on challenging but fun mountain tracks with a great variety of surfaces, drops (!) and brilliant views that you can occasionally glance at!! Riding the brilliant Honda CRF's were very well maintained. Great guiding and help from our guides not to mention great lunch stops! Accommodation was also excellent as was the hospitality.

This was a new experience for me and in the two days of riding, I moved from a blend of fear and excitement to riding joy, due entirely to the relaxed but clear guidance from Digger and Bart. The accommodation is great, thanks again Adrian and Lesley, and I felt quite at home. If you're thinking of going then really just go, I certainly hope to repeat the experience! Oh, and the scenery, the trails, a complete adventure.

Slick operation, excellent tuition, great people, riding, scenery, kit, accommodation, food, weather, Honda's top notch, really, I can't praise the whole trip enough, and to all thinking of going... do it, its brilliant fun!

Excellent 3 days riding with competent guides Ed, Digger and Bart. Accommodation excellent, in a stunning part of Spain. Anyone who's into trail riding and has never been out of the UK, this is the place and the way to do it. It will blow you away. Good 'apres ride' at Redtread Towers with like minded 'dirt junkies'. All in all, very good value and easy to get to from the UK (2hrs 30 mins flight from uk for me) oh, and not forgetting Lesley's cooking (not recommended for dieters) awesome!!...... Steve S

Started the day on dirt bike, went on to jet ski, then later on had a go on snowmobile, not really! But heavy snow in mountains and swollen rivers made for an interesting ride and although I ride lots at home made it for me. 3rd time I've been and wont be the last.

Excellent hospitality and accommodation. Big thanks to Digger and Ed for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Would say to anyone thinking about going to get yourself out there if you want an amazing experience, which you will not get in Britain.

7th March 2011 What an awesome experience - I had reservations about going on my own - what a welcome from Ed at the airport to the dogs at the mansion lol, everyone made the days and evenings enjoyable. The guides were fantastic. They each offered loads of support never allowing me to doubt my ability to finish the days ride. I felt the bike was a bit tall, the fact that I couldn’t reach the floor was a bit daunting for me, but I managed it and had the most wonderful time. The guides' knowledge of the local area was reassuring, always letting me know what to expect during the ride out. What was likely to be around the next corner.... Scenery wonderful, food great, bikes were in great condition and the weather must have been ordered in lol.. What a challenge it was for me. I am pleased with what I achieved and the roads and river crossing were incredible. Can’t wait to have the time to come again. Thanks to Lesley and Adrian for being the best hosts ever. If you want a fun, safe, challenging few days, I would definately recommend Red Tread and all they have to offer.. Well done guys and thanks again.

I had an excellent day with Redtread yesterday. The team were very friendly and experienced and everything worked like clockwork from the moment I arrived. I had plenty of time to get used to a 450cc bike in the morning and by the afternoon was grinning from ear to ear. I'm going back as soon as I can! Many thanks Redtread team.

It was the last day of our honeymoon and one of the most exciting ones :) Very beautiful sceneries during the route, though we didn`t go too far that day compared with another group. But safety first! Everything was safe during the trip and Ed was taking care of that, pointing to each possible danger on the way. Thank you for bringing my wife back without any injuries :) For her it was another level of riding and I saw her doing better and better during the day, which made me happy. For myself it was a good walk-out in the mountains and I didn't get too tired, which I was really looking for. But as I've said earlier safety goes first. Strongly recommend it to everybody! And better take at least 2-3 days, 1 day is definitely not enough!!!

Fantastic experience, the tour is filled with adventure, nice and lovely trails. Ed and Sarah are great hosts. If you're not afraid of heights and you love motorcross, this is definitely the place to be. Also many thanks to Digger, a good guide with many great stories.

Just got back from a two day trip with my son. He spent two great days with Jim on the track. With Jim's help he got faster and faster. The guy is a great teacher and my lad really bonded with him.

Three oldish blokes and a youngun ventured to Southern Spain for three days of riding. Fantastic accommodation, great bikes, great riding, Jim was a superb guide. Adrian & Lesley tended to our every need, and each day we returned to a fresh home made cake! We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will be back. We have used other operators in the past, this was the best!

Well I would like to start by saying thank you a great weekend. The accommodation is very modern and the tour guides are friendly. If you like bikes you will love this place.
