Redtread's Brilliant Sierra Nevada 2 day Tour
We asked our customers to describe in 1 word their Sierra Nevada Tour experience, the words included...massive...stunning...fabulous...awesome and also... when can we do it again!
How many riders?
Minimum number of people on the tour is 6 (this does not mean you have to book 6 places but we cannot run the tour without 6)
Maximum number of people on the tour is 10
When are the tours available?
The tour will be run in the warmer weather due to the altitude you will climb to, so is available in April, May and October.
Who can ride this tour ?
- You must have been riding road bikes competently for 4 to 5 years
- You must have done off-road riding and be of sportsman/clubman ability or above.
- You must be relatively fit
- You must be a team player: This is a long distance tour and riding as a team is essential.
Example Tour
Friday 9th June
Arrive at the Redtread Country House in Competa, Malaga
Stay over night with Redtread
Sat 10th June
Breakfast, kitted up and set off for the day, riding approx 200kms.
Overnight in a 3 star hotel
Sun 11th June
Breakfast at the hotel, then off riding approx 200kms again.
Arrive at the Redtread base later that afternoon/evening and overnight here
Monday 12th June
Breakfast at Redtread and departures home during the day

 The Landrover Defender 110
The Redtread back-up vehicle (Landrover Defender 110) will take your overnight bags and meet up with you at the hotel, where 3 members of Redtread will be staying overnight with you. All the necessary bike servicing equipment is carried in the Landy.
How much does it cost?
3 nights stay and 2 days ride includes:
- 2 nights at the Redtread base
- 1 night in a 3 star hotel (including breakfast)
- 2 full days riding
- Bike

- All protective clothing

- Ex British Champion as your guide

Equipment
- 2009 model range Honda CRF450X and CRF250X
- Fuel for the bike
- Sinisalo jacket / Sinisalo or Scott pants / Alpinestar boots / Sinisalo gloves / M2R or M. Robert helmet / Knox knee & elbow protectors / Knox body protection / Kriega R11 waist pack
- We would recommend that if you are a regular rider you bring your own boots and helmet as these will already be moulded to an exact fit for yourself
- We provide a back up Land Rover 110 Defender to cover all possible eventualities

- Breakfast, lunch when riding and accommodation in a luxury suite at the Redtread Country Mansion for the sole use of Redtread customers
