Family Holidays

Rent an apartment for you and your family in July or August so that you can enjoy your summer holidays and sneek in some off road riding too.

At the Redtread Country house we have two suite rooms, 4 studio rooms and 1 studio room with a extra large private terrace. All the terraces have fabulous views.

For family holidays all the rooms are self catering, and you have access to the large salt water pool. Just a 10 minute walk away is Competa Village, where you will find a superb selection of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as other activities such as horse riding.

The Apartments

1 & 2

Apartments one and two are one bedroom apartments and sleep up to four. The apartments have an twin bedroom, lounge with a double sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom (Room 1 - Bathroom, Room 2 - Shower room) and terrace.

3, 4, 5 & 7

Apartments three, four, five and seven are studio apartments and sleep two. The apartments have twin beds, kitchen, shower room and terrace.

Apartment six is a studio apartment and sleeps up to two. The apartment has twin beds, kitchen, and a bathroom, being the penthouse apartment there are fantastic views off the large private terrace.

Riding

Riding won't necessary be available for everyday, we need to have a minimum of three riders out or a supplement may be charged.

In the morning we will go through the safety briefing, get you fully kitted out in your protective riding gear and also talk you through the “sweeper system” used here at Redtread. This will help you to fully understand the benefits of using this technique so you will feel more comfortable riding out with us. We will also demonstrate the basic operation of your motorcycle and show you how to pick the bike up from the floor in case of a spill. Then we have our all important safety briefing.

We will depart at approximately 10am.

The route we take will depend on the ability of the group.So, we will ride out for approximately 4 hours, give you as much or as little tuition as you want and basically make sure you are having a good time.

At approximately 2pm we will stop for lunch, this is included in the cost of your days riding. We will eat in a typically Spanish Restaurant and enjoy a laid back lunch of approximately 1hr whilst chatting about the mornings riding.

After lunch, we get back into our gear and head off again back onto the trails for a few more hours riding bikes; normally we land back at base for around 5pm.

During the day we will stop at intervals so you can have a breather, take a drink of water and we take photos all day during the tour, we will also check you’re ok!

Depending on the route we take, expect to cover around 100 – 120km.
