Who are Redtread ....get to know us
Redtread Spain are the longest established and the leading off-road Motorcycle Guided Tour Company in Southern Spain, we conceived the idea of Redtread back in 1999, as Redtread, to satisfy the growing demand of motorcyclists looking for "something new and different" from their motorcycle holiday. It grew at an astonishing rate and now after break we have re-purchased the business.
Truly a family run business we pride ourselves in making sure you have everything you need. Our main priorities’ are excellent riding and customer satisfaction.
Redtread Spain is a fully legal company and registered with the Junta de Andalucía and Ministry of Tourism. This certifies that we meet all legal and professional requirements. All of our bikes are Spanish registered and have the appropriate insurances.
At the present time we are one of a few fully legal biking companies operating in Spain. This is becoming increasingly more important as the Spanish authorities and police clamp down on illegal companies. If caught riding with an illegal company the bikes could be impounded and your holiday will be over. Don't take that risk. Book your adventure and ride with a registered company. Ask to see their AT number.
Redtread's Guides
We have five guides, Edward and Digger are the main guides, with three other guides leading or sweeping. Depending on group size there is usually two guides out on tours.
It is company policy that Redtread operates a sweeper rider, this gives us the ability to offer our clients full safety and guidance regardless of your riding ability, speed or terrain. Safety is our upmost priority....always.
Where do we ride?
Your tour will take you from sea-level up to the peaks of high mountains, such as Maroma, which stands at 2000m (6000ft) above sea-level where the panoramic views are truly stunning. You will experience riverbeds (dry and wet), mountain trails, old smugglers trails and forestry sections. Expect to ride from 10am through till 5pm with around an hour for lunch. We will cover approximately 120km and above each riding day depending upon the group and weather conditions. Your riding skills are all taken into consideration and the Tours are assembled around them so you will have every available opportunity to completely enjoy your off-road experience to the full.
